Song Cha, a powerful mob boss, is injured during a conflict within his family’s forces and is unexpectedly rescued by a kind-hearted passerby, Wan Ni. Instantly captivated by her, he falls in love at first sight. However, Wan Ni is already engaged to a painter, Hu En, and her police officer father strongly opposes any involvement with Song Cha. Despite this, Song Cha insists on pursuing her and demands marriage.
To cut off his pursuit, Wan Ni’s family arranges for her to marry Hu En ahead of schedule. But on the wedding day, Song Cha storms in and forcibly takes Wan Ni away. After their marriage, he abandons his domineering ways and treats her with care, respect, and patience, gradually melting her defenses through quiet devotion.
Meanwhile, Song Cha’s stepmother schemes to seize the family fortune and orchestrates a car accident to frame Wan Ni. Although Hu En rescues her, he then sets a fire to fake her death. Driven by jealousy over Wan Ni’s growing feelings for Song Cha, Hu En accidentally kills her father and frames Song Cha for the crime.
In the final confrontation at an abandoned factory, Hu En’s schemes are exposed, and he is brought to justice by the arriving police. Wan Ni finally sees Hu En’s true nature and accepts Song Cha’s love. As for Song Cha, he faces his past crimes and calmly accepts legal punishment.
