Synopsis
From their early days as college partners, Lin Mo (Miles Lane) and Cheng Yue (Selene Chase) work side by side to build their company, with Lin Mo serving as the core technical force behind its success. Yet Cheng Yue, deeply affected by her family background, makes a series of damaging decisions.
To maintain appearances, she misappropriates company investment funds to pay for her younger brother’s wedding gift, allows her brother and his wife to move into their home, and even permits them to destroy Lin Mo’s critical research and development files. She goes so far as to threaten divorce, pressuring Lin Mo to sell their house to buy her brother a school-district property.
After repeatedly having his boundaries crossed, Lin Mo becomes completely disheartened and firmly decides to end the marriage. Without his technical expertise and financial support, Cheng Yue’s company ultimately goes bankrupt. Meanwhile, Lin Mo’s talent earns him the recognition of the accomplished CEO Fan Zhengwen. The two join forces, gradually developing a sincere relationship and stepping into a brand-new life together.
