Trevor Noah returns home to headline the “Bafunny Bafunny” comedy tour with Savanna Premium Cider

South African comedian Trevor Noah has announced that he is coming back home to headline a comedy tour, Bafunny Bafunny South Africa’s Team of Comedy, in collaboration with Savanna Premium Cider this September.
The former The Daily Show host shared the news on his social media platforms, revealing that he will be joined by local comedian Eugene Khoza, with more local and international comedians still to be announced.
“South Africa needs to laugh, and with Savanna, I’m bringing just the team to do it,” he wrote.
“Bafunny Bafunny is South Africa’s National Team of Comedy. Five shows, three cities, September 2026.”
Savanna Premium Cider has since confirmed that local comedian Ntosh Madlingozi is part of the lineup.
Confirmed dates so far include Pretoria at SunBet Arena, Time Square on 5 September 2026, and Cape Town at the Grand Arena, GrandWest on 26 September.
Tickets for the shows are set to go on sale on Wednesday, 29 April.
The last time Noah officially performed live in South Africa was in September 2023 during his nationwide tour, which was also in conjunction with Savanna Premium Cider.
