BACOLOD CITY— The crater glow, locally known as “banaag,” observed at Kanlaon Volcano on Wednesday night was fainter than on previous nights, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said Thursday. Despite the continued volcanic activity, Phivolcs director Teresito Bacolcol said current monitoring parameters are still insufficient to warrant raising the volcano’s alert status
