  • A potential fault with the panoramic roof side finishers, which may not have been securely adhered during factory quality reworks.
  • Affected panels could loosen or detach entirely, creating a hazard for drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists.
  • Owners of the five affected vehicles are urged to contact Jaguar Land Rover for a free inspection and permanent repair.

The National Consumer Commission (NCC) has announced a product recall affecting five Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles manufactured between December 2021 and December 2025 (model years 2022 to 2026).

According to Jaguar Land Rover, an inadequate adhesion process used during vehicle quality rework operations means the panoramic roof side finishers may fail over time.

“An inadequately adhered panoramic roof side finisher could, over time, come partially or completely loose.

This could result in distraction to the driver or other road users or, in the event of complete detachment, harm to other road users, particularly pedestrians or two-wheeled vehicles, increasing the risk of injury or a crash.”

Owners of these specific vehicles are advised to visit their nearest Jaguar Land Rover dealership immediately.

Technicians will remove and securely reattach the panoramic roof side finisher.

This permanent repair will be carried out completely free of charge.

For further enquiries regarding this recall, consumers can contact the NCC via email at ProductRecall@thencc.org.za.
