Synopsis
Quiet and gentle Xu Sui has had a secret crush on Zhou Jingze since high school. Determined to be near him, she enrolls in the university next to his, and fate brings them together.
Their youthful days are passionate yet brief—friends form a band, watch sunrises, and even make reckless bets fueled by teenage bravado. Despite the beautiful time they share, a misunderstanding drives them apart.
When they reunite, their lives are completely different. Xu Sui has become an outstanding surgeon, while Zhou Jingze has been framed and trapped in a dusty training base. As they tentatively reconnect, Zhou Jingze presses closer, and Xu Sui finds herself unable to retreat. She realizes she still can’t let go of him. Zhou Jingze then discovers the secret of her youthful crush.
In the end, they overcome all obstacles to be together. Meanwhile, their good friend Hu Xixi passes away from heart disease, leaving Sheng Nanzhou alone. Zhou Jingze rediscovers his dream and joins the China Air Rescue Team, and Xu Sui follows, joining the medical rescue team. The secret crush of their youth finally comes to a beautiful end.
