After weeks of travelling the globe and exploring some of the world’s most breathtaking coastlines in search of the destination for the 12th season of Tropika Island Of Treasure, La Réunion has come out tops.
The island emerged as the clear winner thanks to its dramatic natural beauty, pristine beaches, rich culture, fascinating history, and convenient proximity to South Africa, all just a four-hour flight from Johannesburg.
Located in the Indian Ocean, La Réunion is known for its lush tropical forests, volcanic peaks and crystal-clear coastlines which will give fans a spectacular backdrop for what promises to be one of the most dynamic seasons yet.
Season 2 winner and All Stars contestant Shashi Naidoo, who visited La Réunion during Tropika Island Search, is thrilled that La Réunion will play host to the upcoming season.
