Springbok captain Rassie Erasmus has been praised for showing his ex-wife love, despite their divorce in recent years.
The 53-year-old rugby boss – who has three children – called time on his 20-year marriage in early 2024.
He has continued to co-parent his kids with his ex, who is a qualified nurse.
Recently, the former couple reunited at their daughter Nikki’s university graduation.

In an Instagram post, Springboks coach Rassie Erasmus doted on his three daughters.
The Boks boss has twins, Nikki and Carli, and his youngest, Janie, with his ex-wife, Nicolene
He captioned the image: “Lief vir al 4 van julle en ma”.
Rassie’s mention of four women, plus his mother, led many to believe he was voicing his love and affection to his ex.

Despite their divorce, Rassie and his ex often show up for their children. From graduation ceremonies to birthday parties and the first day of school, Rassie and his former spouse have continued to co-parent healthily.

The older woman often sends him encouraging messages ahead of Springbok matches and supports him during difficult, stressful times.
