On 6 May, Saskia Snyman, the wife of Springbok and Leinster lock RG Snyman, joyfully announced on Instagram that they are expecting their first baby.

Saskia captioned her announcement reel “our plus one,” and based on the reactions from her Instagram followers, they are also excited about the baby news.
One comment that stood out came from fellow Springbok WAG Aisling Kleyn. She wrote, “and to think I was prepared. We are ready for this baby.”
Aisling is married to Springbok and Munster lock Jean Kleyn, and they welcomed their second child on 29 April 2026.

RG: ‘SES JAAR SAAM MY BRUID’
The towering rugby star hopped on Instagram to celebrate their sixth anniversary in November 2025. He wrote “Ses jaar saam my briud” which translates to “six years with my bride”.
The Snymans got married in November 2019 at a whimsical venue at The Greenhouse Café in Rosemary Hill Farm, Pretoria. Their wedding took place shortly after the Springboks won the Rugby World Cup in Japan.
2025 WAS THE YEAR OF THE SNYMANS
The year 2025 proved to be quite a busy one for the loved-up couple. They bought a new home in the Western Cape after living in Ireland for some time.
The renovation updates showed that the couple is into a minimalistic decor style, warm colour palettes, complete with wooden flooring.
The year 2025 marked almost two years since RG officially joined Leinster following his tenure with the Irish rugby team Munster.
Leinster won the URC Cup that same year, and supporters have enjoyed his contributions to the team.
In 2025, the gorgeous Mrs. also made remarkable strides, earning her Master of Business Administration (MBA). Her caption read, “got me an MBA (with a specialism [sic] in living my life),” and of course her husband was right by her side to support her.
In June 2025, Saskia, in partnership with fellow Springbok WAG Aimee Kitshoff, launched a “whiskey in a can” drink named High Ball. During an interview on the Storytime podcast, Aimee shared the following about their product.
“We had some (High Ball drinks) this weekend in Joburg at the amazing Pick n Pay braai with the boys’ event, and one of the girls from Pick n Pay says she had two, and she was feeling so good. I was like, “It’s all it takes!”
