Song Qingtian (Sarah Bell), an employee at a subsidiary of the Gu Corporation, once helped her ex-boyfriend Wang Shuo (Leon Bailey) rise to the position of general manager. However, she was betrayed when he cheated on her. Wang Shuo then promoted an intern, Ji Wanqing (Vera Adams), all the way up to vice president. Backed by his favor, Ji Wanqing deliberately made things difficult for Song Qingtian at work, causing delays in her project and resulting in a loss of 200 million yuan for the company.
At this time, Gu Jingchen (James Zook), the president of the Gu Corporation, disguised himself as an ordinary employee to conduct an internal investigation.
