Synopsis
Wen Renya, the daughter of a duke, wants to recruit a scholar as her husband. She falls in love with the top scholar Lu Chen at first sight and pursues him passionately.
Though Lu Chen appears cold and aloof, he has a mysterious past. He hides in the capital to investigate the death of his foster mother and uncover the secrets of the imperial court.
To get closer to him, Wen Renya enters Nanyong Academy. She helps Lu Chen many times when the Su family tries to frame him, and the two slowly develop feelings for each other amid danger.
Burdened by revenge, Lu Chen tries to push Wenren Ya away, but she refuses to leave his side and helps him uncover the truth.
In the end, Lu Chen discovers that he is actually the swapped prince. Together with Wen Renya, he exposes the Su family’s conspiracy. He gives up his royal identity and chooses to marry into Wen Renya’s family…
